Primary Objective: Establish Stronger Foothold in region

Details: FA ODB, ODA 3211, ODA 3212 and 160th SOAR will conduct an assault on the town of Lotohafaz 187192 (OBJ SteelDriver). There is Credible intel obtained by our CIA assets that a Taliban HQ is set up in one of the central buildings and must be destroyed and all documentation must be secured. OBJ will be Hit at around 06:30 as all Taliban High Command is set to meet together to discuss the Transport of WMDs in the region. Resistance will be strong ISR observed a Platoon size element, static ZSU and a Dshk emplacement in OBJ SteelDriver.
Objective 1 (HVT) ODA 3211 was airlifted by SOAR into FOB Branca, where 2 HMMV’s were used in order to bring more firepower, and mobility to the team. While enroute to OBJ 1 Assassin began to take heavy and accurate fire from a town adjacent to OBJ 1. Strikes were conducted from SOAR elements, and Assassin pushed through the contact. Assassin encountered an enemy tank outside of OBJ 1. 1-1 Weapon Sgt engaged with anti-tank weaponry, making the crew dismount. Assassin then pushed back from the AO, set up a patrol base. SOAR conducted multiple strikes into the town. HVT was killed when he was maneuvering with elements that were attacking the patrol base.
Objective 2 (Lotohafaz) ODA 3211 then pushed into the town clearing it of enemy fighters, fighting was sporadic, but ODA 3211 eliminated all enemy, while suffering 1 wounded. ODA 3211 then pushed back to FOB Branca which was under attack. Before ODA 3211 arrival SOAR elements defended the FOB from the ground.
