1. 

   Colonel

   A Colonel typically commands battalion-sized units, or smaller specialized units, with a CSM as principal NCO assistant. Colonels are typically seasoned veterans of large scale conflict, with a proven track record in command positions at Platoon, Company, and Battalion levels. They command primarily through their Battalion Commander's, Support Unit Commanders, and the Brigade Command Team.
   Requirements:

   ● Soldier has been a LTC for a minimum of 36 weeks

2. 

   Lieutenant Colonel

   Typically second in command of battalion-sized units, with a CSM as principal NCO assistant. May also be selected for brigade and task force Executive Officer. Lieutenant Colonels typically serve as Battalion Commanders within the Unit. Battalion Commanders will be tasked with all command responsibilities for their battalion. To be eligible for battalion command, an officer will need to be at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and have served as a Battalion Executive Officer for a minimum of 32 weeks. As with all commissioned officer positions, promotions will be made strictly on an as needed basis.

   ● Soldier has been a MAJ for a minimum of 32 weeks

3. 

   Major

   Typically found as the Executive Officer at Battalion level, this is often the first encounter for many officers with command on a large scale. As a Battalion XO the officer hones his leadership skills, both on and off the battlefield, under a more seasoned commander. At battalion level, the command team is set up in similar fashion to company level. A Major will hold the position of Battalion Executive Officer. The Battalion Executive Officer will be the right hand of the Battalion Commander and will be responsible for assisting the Company Commander with administrative tasks in running the Battalion. In order to be eligible to serve as a Battalion Executive Officer, a soldier will need to hold the rank of Major and have served as a Company Commander for a minimum of 24 weeks. As with all commissioned officer positions, this rank is on an as needed basis.

4. 

   Captain

   Commands and controls platoon to company-sized units, together with a principal NCO assistant, typically a First Sergeant. This is also the entry point for Master NCO’s making the transition to the Commissioned Officer program. In order to be eligible for command of a company, a soldier will need to be at the rank of Captain, and have served as a Company Executive Officer or a Company First Sergeant for 16 weeks.

   ● Soldier has been a 1LT or 1SG for a minimum of 16 weeks

5. 

   First Lieutenant

   A seasoned lieutenant who leads more specialized weapons platoons and indirect fire computation centers. As a senior Lieutenant, they are often selected to be the Executive Officer of a company-sized unit. The Executive Officer is responsible for assisting the Company Commander with administrative tasks in running the Company. To be a Company Executive Officer, an officer will need to have served as a Platoon Leader for a minimum of 12 weeks and be a First Lieutenant.

   ● Soldier has been an O1 for a minimum of 12 weeks

6. 

   Second Lieutenant

   Second Lieutenant is the entry-level rank for Commissioned Officers. A Second Lieutenant will typically be a Platoon Leader, and will be responsible for leading their platoon, both on and off the field. Each Platoon Leader will be assisted by a Platoon Sergeant, a senior Non-commissioned Officer with a wealth of experience in their chosen field. Second Lieutenants, while in command of the platoon, should still ensure that they learn from the Platoon Sergeant at every opportunity. This will drastically increase the Second Lieutenant’s leadership capabilities as well as tactical capabilities.
   Requirements:
   ● Soldier has been a SGT for 12 weeks minimum
   ● Soldier should be at least 18 years of age.
   Privileges:
   ● Soldier may be assigned to a Platoon Leader position
   ● Soldier is eligible to join a Unit Department

7. 

   Officer Cadet

   Officer Candidate School (OCS) is the U.S. Army's main training academy for prospective Army Officers. The school is generally open to qualified enlisted non-commissioned officers. Candidates who successfully complete the training and selection, receive formal commissions as U.S. Army Officers and assume the ability to command Soldiers.
   Requirements:
   ● Soldier has applied for the Commissioned Officer Program, been accepted, and completed all necessary training
   ● Soldier has demonstrated a track record of both leadership and sound judgement both on and off the battlefield.
   ● Soldier has been a SGT for 12 weeks minimum
   ● Soldier should be at least 18 years of age.
   Privileges:
   ● Soldier is eligible to join a Unit Department

8. 

   Command Sergeant Major

   The Command Sergeant Major is the senior enlisted soldier in each brigade, and serves as the Brigade Commander’s enlisted advisor. The Command Sergeant Major is responsible for coordinating all training activity for the brigade, and is the primary counselor and disciplinarian for the NCO’s in the unit. On the battlefield, the Command Sergeant Major works closely with the Brigade Commander and Executive Officer, ensuring their safety, and helping to keep the unit combat effective.
   Requirements:
   ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of SGM
   ● Soldier has been SGM for 26 weeks minimum
   ● Soldier has been assigned as Command Sergeant Major by the Brigade Commander, with Staff approval.
   Privileges:
   ● May be assigned as a Battalion Sergeant Major
   ● Soldier is the right hand of the 3RB Battalion Commander

10. 

    First Sergeant

    The First Sergeant is the senior enlisted soldier in each company, and serves as the Company Commander’s enlisted advisor. The First Sergeant is responsible for coordinating all training activity for the company with the Platoon Sergeants, and ensuring that training is conducted according to TRADOC standards. On the battlefield, the First Sergeant works closely with the Company Commander and Executive Officer, ensuring their safety and helping to keep the unit combat effective. First Sergeant positions are filled on a strictly as needed basis, as determined by Command Staff.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has applied for Master Non-Commissioned Officer membership
    ● Soldier has completed the Master Noncommissioned Officer Course
    ● Soldier has been a MSG for 22 weeks minimum
    ● Soldier is required to join and participate in a unit department
    ● Soldier is required to lead a Unit Department if another soldier of higher rank is not already leading that department
    Privileges:
    ● Highest ranking enlisted soldier in each Company
    ● Soldier may apply for the Warrant Officer program
    ● Soldier may apply for the Commissioned Officer program
    ● Soldier is the right hand of the 3RB Company Commander

11. 

    Master Sergeant

    Master Sergeant is the maximum required rank to serve as a Platoon Sergeant. The Platoon Sergeant is the senior enlisted soldier in each platoon, and serves as the Platoon Leader’s enlisted advisor and right hand. The Platoon Sergeant is responsible for the training of the platoon, and ensuring that all training is conducted according to TRADOC standards. On the battlefield, the Platoon Sergeant is the Platoon Leader’s guardian angel, ensuring his safety and helping to keep the platoon combat effective. Master Sergeant positions are filled on a strictly as needed basis, as determined by Command Staff.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of SFC
    ● Soldier has been a SFC for 18 weeks minimum
    ● This position is assigned strictly on an As-Needed basis, meaning that a soldier must meet all requirements, and there must be an available Platoon Sergeant position prior to promotion.
    ● Soldier is required to join and participate in a unit department
    ● Soldier is required to take charge of their unit department if another soldier of higher rank is not already leading that department
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier is required to be assigned as a Platoon Sergeant, and is required to take charge of squads in game, unless a higher ranking NCO or Officer is present
    ● Soldier may apply for Master Non-Commissioned Officer membership
    ● Soldier may apply for the Warrant Officer program
    ● Soldier can apply for the Commissioned Officer program

    MSG

12. 

    Sergeant First Class

    Key assistant and advisor to the Platoon Leader. Generally has enough experience and puts it to use by making quick, accurate decisions in the best interests of the Rangers and the unit. Sergeant First Class is the highest enlisted rank available that is not assigned on an as needed basis. Sergeants First Class can serve as Squad Leaders, and other than the Platoon Sergeant, are generally the most experienced enlisted Rangers in a platoon.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of SSG
    ● Soldier has completed the Advanced Leadership Course
    ● Soldier has been a SSG for 16 weeks minimum
    ● Soldier is eligible to join a unit department
    ● Soldier is required to lead their Unit Department if another soldier of higher rank is not already leading that department
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier has the capability to lead a squad or may fill in as a Platoon Sergeant if needed
    ● Soldier may receive a unit email at staff discretion

    SFC

13. 

    Staff Sergeant

    Staff Sergeant is the minimum required rank for being assigned to a Squad Leader position. As a Squad Leader, an NCO is responsible for his Rangers both on and off the battlefield. Off the battlefield, a Squad Leader is responsible for ensuring that his Rangers basic needs are met and that they are meeting their basic requirements of unit membership such as activity and installation of required programs and downloads. Additionally, a Squad Leader should be a mentor to the Rangers assigned to their squad. A strong Squad Leader should be an NCO that their Rangers can come to with problems. On the battlefield, a Squad Leader is responsible for keeping his squad combat effective through strong leadership and proper usage of tactics. Squad Leaders will work with their subordinate Team Leaders to achieve goals both on and off the battlefield.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has completed the Advanced Leadership Course
    ● Soldier should be 20 years of age or older.
    ● Soldier has been a SGT for 12 weeks minimum
    *May be waived at Command discretion
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier may be assigned to a Squad Leader position
    ● Soldier may receive a unit email address, at Staff discretion

    SSG

14. 

    Sergeant

    Sergeants are the backbone of the NCO corps. These NCO’s have more training and experience than Corporals, and as a result, can be expected to perform better both on and off the battlefield. This is the minimum rank required to be assigned to a Team Leader position. As a Team Leader, a Sergeant is expected to keep their assigned team combat effective through strong leadership and proper use of tactics, and to support the Squad Leader in any way possible. Off the battlefield, a Sergeant will ensure that the needs of all assigned personnel are met through training, guidance, and discipline, as well as serving as the voice of the Rangers assigned to the Sergeant.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of CPL
    ● Soldier has been a CPL for 4 weeks minimum.
    *May be waived at Command discretion
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier can apply for Senior Non-Commissioned Officer membership, and upon acceptance will be transferred to the rank of Staff Sergeant
    ● Soldier can apply for the Commissioned Officer program, and upon acceptance will be transferred to the rank of Second Lieutenant

    SGT

15. 

    Corporal

    Corporal is the base of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) ranks in the 3RB. This rank is awarded to Rangers that have demonstrated a strong leadership potential, and a desire to develop that potential. Corporals will typically be assigned to a leadership role, sometimes as a Team Leader, if there is not a Sergeant available for the position. Off the battlefield, Corporals will ensure that the needs of their personnel are met, praise, train, and discipline their Rangers as they see fit, and learn from the more senior Non-Commissioned Officers in the unit. On the battlefield, Corporals are expected to take charge of those around them in the absence of other orders or leadership, and to assist the leaders above them in any way possible.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has demonstrated leadership potential
    ● Soldier attends unit meetings regularly
    ● Soldier has completed Basic Leadership Course (BLC)
    *May be waived at Command discretion
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier may be assigned to a Team Leader position

    ● Soldier earns access to the NCO forums

    CPL

16. 

    Specialist

    Can manage other enlisted Rangers of lower rank, however more commonly will be assigned under an NCO in a non-leadership position. Specialists are exactly what their name implies. These Rangers are the most experienced of the lower enlisted, and by now will be very proficient in a minimum of their assigned role, and more commonly multiple roles. Has served a minimum of 4 weeks as a PFC and has a proven track record of discipline. Rangers may also be awarded this rank for prior real world military service.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of PFC
    ● Soldier has demonstrated proficiency in their assigned role both in training and combat situations.
    ● Soldier is a member of the Veterans Experience Program (VEP)
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier may apply for specialized training schools
    ● Soldier may apply for Junior Non-Commissioned Officer membership

17. 

    Private First Class

    Privates that have maintained an acceptable level of activity and discipline, as well as demonstrated proper combat discipline and proficiency at the basic level may be promoted to Private First Class. A PFC may begin applying for specialized training courses at this time, provided that the soldier has completed USAAS. A PFC’s primary mission is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability, and continue to develop their personal and professional knowledge and abilities.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has lived up to the requirements of the rank of PV2
    ● Soldier submits a RSVP to events regularly
    ● Soldier has completed Airborne / Air Assault School

18. 

    Private Second Class

    A Private who has successfully finished the recruitment process, finished Infantry Ranger Assessment and Selection Program, or RASP, is promoted to PV2. A Private’s primary role is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability, and to improve themselves through training and experience, and learning from the more experienced Rangers, NCO’s and Officers around them.
    Requirements:
    ● Soldier has finished RASP
    ● Soldier stays active on the website
    ● Soldier demonstrates proper attitude, discipline, and behavior
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier will be assigned to a unit
    ● Soldier may apply for the Student Pilot Program.
    ● Soldier has access to Scrimmages and Joint Operations
    ● Soldier may begin Airborne/Air Assault School

19. 

    Private

    A Recruit who has successfully filled out all the entry level information and applications he/she will move to the rank of Private. A PVT will be able to attend RASP. The primary role of the Private is to make sure they get their training done in a timely manner.

    ● Should be at least 18 years of age. 
    ● A working headset and microphone
    ● Must have TeamSpeak 3
    ● Must have Discord
    ● Must have Arma 3, along with all unit mods
    ● Must have no permanent bans or a record of dishonest or undisciplined behavior ( case by case basis )
    Privileges:
    ● Soldier is able to attend Ranger Assessment and Selection Program
    ● Soldier has access to Members Only areas of the TeamSpeak server
    ● Soldier has access to Members Only areas of the forums
    ● Able to attend unit training/events/operations etc. No qualifications will be earned while a PVT.
