Welcome Candidates,

This is a professional setting, expect to use military courtesy at all times during official functions. This means addressing by rank and name or sir/ma'am if the individual is an officer. To everyone, including fellow students. One Station Unit Training (OSUT) is a 1 day class you must complete to continue into the unit. Below you will find information you need to know before attending a OSUT. Keep in mind that the class may take up to 3 hours maximum.

Welcome to One Station Unit Training,

Please take the time to read all of the information on this page before posting a reply. There is important info here that can answer most of your questions.

If you do not have the required mods ready to go when the class starts, you will be asked to attend another time. This is meant to speed up classes and not make people wait for those who have not taken the time to check their mods prior to class. I will be available at least 15 minutes prior to the class start, however it is strongly encouraged that you to use the support and assistance available to you below to get your mods correctly installed well before the class starts.

FAQ

Q - What server do I join?
A - When it's time for you to know, your instructor will tell you.

Q - What Teamspeak channel should I be in?
A - The first available classroom channel. Typically 'Classroom 1' but that can change.

Q - Can I complete OSUT with mod problems?
A - No. All Candidates must have their mods in working order before passing Ranger Assessment and Selection Program.

Q - What should my name in Teamspeak be?
A - "PVT Name.S". (Last Name followed by an period followed by an first name initial.)

Q - I signed up for a class but can't make it, what do I do?
A - Edit your post in the thread to say "Disregard" and just do not attend. Schedules change, people lose track of time, etc. We understand.

Q - I am having trouble installing my mods correctly, what do I do? Can you help me?
A - Modding a game is an extensive process for new comers, we understand. Though people like your OSUT Instructor are here to help, we are a small group of people and don't have the time to walk every one of you through your mod installation. I recommend using video and written tutorials found all over the internet to help you out.

Q - When should I be in Teamspeak?
A - At minimum, I would like you to be in the classroom channel 15 minutes before start time. This allows me to get you sorted out on the paperwork and will get the class done faster.
